Easy No Knead Dinner Rolls

Simple Ingredients. Just stir, shape, rise, and bake!
Servings 15

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. active dry yeast
  • 1/2 stick melted butter (plus 3 more Tbsp. to brush on tops)
  • 3 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt (if using unsalted butter, use a heaping tsp. salt)

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add warm water, sugar, and yeast. Whisk together until combined well. Allow to rest, uncovered, for 5 minutes for yeast to bloom (will become foamy/frothy on top).
  • Add melted butter, flour, and salt. Stir until all flour blends in. No kneading required! Cover the bowl. Let rise for 30 minutes in a warm, draft free area (such as near your oven or cooktop.) For extra help during rising, place a simmering pot of water nearby to create extra warmth.
  • Transfer dough to a floured surface. Fold dough over itself 4 times, and create rough square. Divide dough into 15 equal pieces using a bench scraper or knife. Roll each piece into a tight ball and pinch to seal. (See video)
  • Place dough balls in a 9x13 pan lined with parchment paper. If you don't have parchment paper, lightly grease your pan. If you don't have a 9x13 pan, you couls use a cookie sheet. Leave a little room between rolls to allow for rising. (See video)
  • Brush tops of rolls with a generous amount of melted butter, cover loosely, and rise for an additional 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Uncover, and bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for about 20-22 minutes, or until nice and brown. Baking times will vary depending on your oven.
  • Enjoy!
